Camel Collective’s works in video\, sculpture\, performance\, and photography think through the subjects of collaboration and the often laborious production of sensation as they relate to contemporary labor and shared myths of cultural production. From philosophers to Foley artists\, labor theorists to lighting designers\, the work of the collective sought to bring together collaborators from a variety of often incongruent professions and backgrounds\, and to provide occasion to question the disciplinary assumptions of knowledge and meaning.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCamel Collective is the name that artists Anthony Graves (US) and Carla Herrera-Prats (MX\, d. 2019) worked under from 2005–2019.
