Beyond Binaries: Navigating the Quantum Self

Wednesday, June, 12 2024
8:30 – 10:00 PM (EST)

Description: Dive deep into the complexities of gender with Kate Bornstein’s revolutionary talk. Explore gender not just as a binary but also as a multi-dimensional experience, where biology meets the mind, spirit, and the very fabric of space-time. This presentation will challenge your perceptions, expand your understanding, and invite you to view gender identity through a radically inclusive lens.
For over thirty years, Kate Bornstein has been writing about non-binary gender in theory, fiction, and memoir. Kate’s books include three classic texts of postmodern gender theory, Gender Outlaw, My New Gender Workbook, and A Queer and Pleasant Danger. Her collected papers are archived and available for research at Brown University, alongside the archived papers of Kate’s partner in life and art, Barbara Carrellas
