The Technology and Global Learning Committee

The Technology and Global Learning Committee oversees the Institute’s Technology needs, and promotes and supports new and current Global Learning Programs. The mission of the Technology and Global Learning Committee is to extend the reach and the reputation of the W.A. White Institute, providing educational opportunity to students and clinicians in a wider geographical area. The Committee is responsible, in collaboration with the Institute’s Administration, for reviewing the Institute’s technology equipment and software platforms to evaluate their effectiveness in meeting our educational goals and to make recommendations for change as needed. In addition to supporting new and current global learning programs, the Committee’s efforts may also include broadcasting our educational initiatives to students and mental health practitioners in distant locations.

Since its inception in 2016, the Committee has launched three global online programs: The Online Interpersonal Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program for Russian Speakers, the Online Intensive Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program, and the Online Topic-Oriented Psychotherapy Program.

Our free online webinar series, “Confronting Racism, Discrimination and Othering: Perspectives from Around the World”, launched in January 2021 with guests Bill Moyers and Carol Jenkins. All of our webinars can be found here.
